General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
1. General
GTC Status: May 24, 2026
1.1.
These General Terms and Conditions ("GTC") apply to orders, sales, and deliveries of products ("Products") offered and sold in this webshop ("Webshop") via the website paulinamichelle.com.
1.2.
The contract language is German.
2. Scope of Application
2.1.
These GTC apply if the buyer is a consumer within the meaning of § 1 KSchG (Consumer Protection Act) ("Customer").
3. Amendments to the GTC
3.1.
The provider reserves the right to amend these GTC. For the sale of products, the GTC valid at the time of purchase shall apply.
4. Customer Account
4.1.
To order products, the customer can create a customer account in the webshop. Creating a customer account requires the customer to provide certain information.
An order is also possible without a customer account.
5. Order, Order Confirmation, Shipping Confirmation
5.1.
The ordering process involves the following steps:
● Selection of desired goods
● Adding goods to the shopping cart
● Entering personal data
● Selection of payment method and delivery method
● Reviewing and, if necessary, correcting the order
● Binding submission of the order by clicking on "Order with obligation to pay"
5.2.
The products and price information displayed in the webshop constitute an invitation to the customer to submit a binding offer to purchase the products to the provider ("Order"). By clicking the button with the text "Order with obligation to pay", or any other equivalent wording, the binding order is transmitted by the customer to the provider. Illustrations and drawings of the goods are only approximate values, unless they have been expressly stated as fixed values for the product. The customer accepts minor and objectively justified changes.
5.3.
The provider will immediately send a confirmation to the customer at the e-mail address provided by them, confirming receipt of the order by the provider ("Order Confirmation"). This order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of the customer's order, but merely confirms receipt of the order by the provider.
5.4
Acceptance takes place at different times and in different forms, depending on the chosen payment method:
● by sending an order confirmation by e-mail, with the time of receipt of the order confirmation by the customer being decisive.
● by shipping the ordered goods to the customer, whereby a transmitted shipping confirmation is to be understood as an order confirmation. If no separate shipping confirmation is sent to the customer, the receipt of the goods by the customer is decisive.
● by sending a payment request.
5.5.
The customer must ensure that all information provided by them in an order, in particular the data necessary for shipping, is accurate, correct, and up-to-date. The customer must immediately inform the provider of any changes to this information.
5.6.
After the contract is concluded, the provider will send the customer an electronic invoice. The customer agrees to receive an electronic invoice.
6. Payment Terms
6.1.
All stated prices are in Euro, including VAT, but excluding shipping costs, unless otherwise specified. Shipping costs will be displayed to the customer before placing the order.
6.2.
Payment in the webshop can be made via the following payment methods: Credit card, Klarna, Apple Pay, PayPal, Google Pay, Sofortüberweisung (instant bank transfer), Invoice, Prepayment, EPS.
6.3.
Shipping costs are order-dependent and will be shown by the provider before the order and in the order confirmation.
7. Delivery and Pre-Orders
7.1.
The customer has access to the shipping methods specified by the provider in the webshop.
7.2.
The delivery dates stated by the provider are based on the information provided by the commissioned shipping service provider. Unless a different delivery date is specified for the respective products, the delivery period for the products to the customer shall not exceed 30 days from the conclusion of the contract.
7.2.a (Special provision for pre-orders): For products explicitly marked as "Pre-Order" in the webshop, production only begins after the pre-order phase has concluded. The delivery time for these custom-made or batch-produced pre-orders is approximately 2 months from the production start date specified on the product page. The regular 30-day period according to § 7.2 does not apply to these products.
7.3.
If the non-observance of the delivery date is due to force majeure, labor disputes, or other events beyond the provider's control, the delivery date shall be extended appropriately for the duration of the hindrance. The provider will inform the customer of the beginning and end of such circumstances as soon as possible, without the customer being able to derive any claims from the omission of the notification.
7.4.
If the customer defaults on accepting the products, the warranty period for the provider's performance begins.
8. Retention of Title
8.1.
The provider retains ownership of the products until full payment of the purchase price and ancillary costs (in particular shipping costs) by the customer.
9. Provider's Default
9.1.
If the provider defaults on its performance, the customer must first request the provider to perform within a reasonable grace period of two weeks. If the provider does not perform within this period, the customer may withdraw from the contract or continue to demand performance.
10. Warranty
10.1.
Paulina Michelle provides warranty within the framework of legal provisions. For complaints, please contact info@paulinamichelle.com.
10.2.
The provider may request that the customer, if feasible for them, send the defective products to the provider, with the provider bearing the risk of sending and the costs of return. The customer is requested to complain about delivered goods with obvious transport damage to the delivery service and to inform the provider about it. If the customer fails to do so, this has no effect whatsoever on their warranty claims.
10.3 (Important Material and Allergy Notice): Our jewelry is manufactured with the greatest care from high-purity titanium to ensure maximum compatibility (especially for allergy sufferers). All material information is provided to the best of our knowledge and belief based on manufacturer and material certificates. However, since allergic reactions are based on individual medical predispositions and can occur even with hypoallergenic materials in rare individual cases, no absolute (medical) guarantee for complete freedom from reaction can be given for every customer. The occurrence of an individual allergic reaction does not constitute a material defect in the legal sense, provided that the delivered product complies with the material description (pure titanium). The customer's statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected by this.
11. Liability and Damages
11.1.
The provider's liability for damages caused by slight negligence, except for personal injury and essential contractual obligations, is excluded. Liability is also excluded for pure financial losses, loss of profit, damages to third parties, indirect damages, and consequential damages. Liability-limiting or -excluding provisions of this point 11 do not apply if and to the extent that gross negligence or intent on the part of the provider exists.
12. General Provisions
12.1.
Unless Austrian law applies anyway due to the orientation of this webshop towards Austria, the applicability of Austrian law is exclusively agreed upon, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
12.2.
For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as the granted protection is not withdrawn by mandatory provisions of the law of the state in which the consumer has their habitual residence.
12.3.
The customer may only set off claims against the provider's claims if the claims are legally related to the claims, have been acknowledged, or have been legally established.
12.4.
The customer is obliged to inform the provider of changes to their address. If the customer does not notify a change of address, a declaration sent by the provider to the last known address shall nevertheless be deemed to have been received by them.
Right of Withdrawal & Right of Rescission
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal (Right of Rescission)
When the right of withdrawal does not exist: There is no right of withdrawal (right of rescission) for goods manufactured according to customer specifications or clearly tailored to personal needs (e.g., personalized engravings).
When the right of withdrawal expires prematurely (Important hygiene notice for earrings): For goods that are delivered sealed and are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, the right of withdrawal (right of rescission) expires prematurely if the goods have been unsealed after delivery.
Special Agreement for Earrings & Ear Jewelry (Allergy Test Kit): To guarantee our customers maximum safety, sterility, and hygiene, our ear jewelry is delivered in a sealed hygienic protective packaging. Each order of ear jewelry includes a single, unsealed titanium test pin ("Test Pin") outside of this sealed packaging.
The customer is expressly asked to test material compatibility exclusively with this enclosed test pin. The statutory right of withdrawal (right of rescission) for the actual ear jewelry expires prematurely according to hygiene regulations as soon as the hygienic seal of the main packaging of the ear jewelry is opened, damaged, or removed. A return of the ear jewelry is excluded after the seal is broken for reasons of health protection and hygiene.

We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in no event will you incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

Skin that remembers nothing.
No nickel. No alloy that reacts. Just a material your body won't recognize as foreign—the same material used in surgical implants.
One evening I wore a new pair of earrings — the packaging loudly proclaimed "hypoallergenic." The next morning: red, swollen, burning earlobes. It took me a long time to understand why. "Hypoallergenic" is not legally protected. Any brand can print it on their product, regardless of the ingredients. And that's exactly where Paulina Michelle comes in.
Three compelling reasons
The body remains still
Pure titanium is neutral towards tissue. That's why it is used in medical technology for implants — where no material can cause problems.
Tested Purity
We use titanium according to the medical standard ASTM F67 — not coated fashion jewelry, no hidden alloy that emerges over time.
Feather-light & durable
Titan is lighter than silver, won't tarnish, and can withstand water, sweat, and sports. Put them in and forget about them — all day long.
Only one material fulfills everything
Five common earring materials in direct comparison. Only pure titanium excels in every category.
