Care & Handling
How to keep your titanium beautiful
Titanium is one of the easiest jewelry metals to care for — it doesn't tarnish, rust, and is extremely scratch-resistant. With a few simple steps, your jewelry will stay beautiful for a lifetime.
Daily Care
After wearing, a quick wipe is enough to keep your jewelry sparkling.
- Wipe with a soft, dry cloth — this removes sweat, skin oils, make-up and cream residues.
- It is best to remove it briefly before sports, sauna or hair dye, if safely possible.
- For sensitive ears, check the earlobes for redness from time to time.
Clean thoroughly
Should your jewelry ever appear dull or visibly soiled:
- Fill a bowl with lukewarm water and a drop of mild soap.
- Soak the jewelry for a few minutes, then gently rub it with a soft cloth.
- Rinse with clean water and pat dry with a soft cloth—do not air dry, as this can cause water spots.
Store properly
- Store in a cool, dry place—ideally in the included box or a soft pouch.
- Store individually to prevent scratching (even though titanium is very scratch-resistant).
- Clean briefly and store dry before extended periods of non-use.
You should avoid that
Titanium is tough, but a few things can damage its beautiful finish:
- No aggressive cleaners, bleach, or chlorine-based agents.
- No abrasive sponges, toothpaste, or scouring agents — they can dull the finish.
- For gold-colored items (PVD coating), clean particularly gently, do not scrub.
In case of persistent redness, itching, or discomfort in the ears, remove the jewelry and consult a doctor if in doubt. These instructions are general care recommendations.
